McGill's Luck Goes South
Snowshoe, WV / June 27 – FRE/KTM ATV GNCC rider Adam McGill showed up at the Snowshoe event to claim the title and the $10,000 purse just as he had done the previous year. Unfortunately, luck would not fall his way and a broken foot peg kept him from capturing the win.
McGill started the 20 mile, two-loop race out front. He led the first lap around. Unfortunately McGill hit a rock at the end of the first lap resulting in a broken foot peg and a trip to the pits to repair it. To make matters worse it took nearly and hour to repair his KTM race machine before he returned to the course. He eventually reentered the race but was too far back. He was credited with 19th overall.

John Natalie and Cody Miller Both in Top Ten of Points Race
Natalie Miller
Blountville, TN – After round number eight of the AMA ATV Motocross Championship series, Can-Am Warnert Racing’s John Natalie and Cody Miller are both sitting pretty in the top ten of the points chase.
Cody Miller had a solid first moto at round number eight at Muddy Creek. The number 22 Can-Am came off the line in the top five. Miller stayed the course and was able to work his way up to the number four position, but an injury Miller suffered a couple of weeks ago began to take his toll and he fell back to fifth place, where he would stay until reaching the checkered flag. In moto two Miller again came off the line strong and worked his way up to third place, but fell back. Miller ended his day in the top ten in eighth place overall. Miller’s consistency and podium finish have him sitting within the top ten in points and Miller vows he will be seen on the podium again before the end of the season. “I’ll be back to 100% at the next round and I will be back on the podium again,” said Miller. “My bike has been running great and everything is dialed in, so I will be ready to go.”
John Natalie was looking strong as well, but a nasty crash off of one of the big jumps sent him tumbling. Luckily, the Ironman was not injured and will be back at 100% for round number nine, where he will be trying for his first win of the season. Even after his crash, Natalie is still sitting comfortably in seventh place of the Pro points race and looks to be a contender for a top five finish at season’s end.
