Shelby Showplace Arena
Memphis, TN
Travis Moore walked away with two 1st place finishes in the 2nd round of the 2009-2010 Arenacross Tour. Moore Came in with his head held high and his self confidence through the roof. Only two hours away from his hometown of Mckenzie, TN- Moore considers this to be his hometown track. "I had a bunch of friends and family in the stands tonight, some of which have never gotten the chance to see me race." "I had to give them a show!" Moore stated.
Moto #1: Travis started off by ripping the holeshot and taking an early lead. He found a nice groove and was able to pull away with a satisfying win.
Moto #2: Moore came into the main event with the advantage of having 1st gate pick. The gate dropped and once again Moore found himself taking another holeshot with teammate Dalton Millican right behind taking the number 2 spot.
Moore stated, "I couldn't be happier with my finishes here tonight in Memphis. The bike was really handling smoothly and delivering the power that I needed to get me the overall 1st place win. I have been racing the ArenaCross series with just a practice motor Tom Miller built and just pulling holeshots everywhere I go. I can’t wait to put Tom’s race motor in for the Nationals. Tom is building some big power.”
